Background:

Qualified with PricewaterhouseCoopers Hong Kong in 1976 and worked in their Toronto Office for more than five years. He left the professional field in 1990 and worked for two Hong Kong listed companies (a fully licensed bank and a mobile operator) as Chief Internal Auditor and Head of Audit and Risk Management for more than 15 years, specialising in internal audit, risk management and corporate governance.

Patrick joined RSM Nelson Wheeler in April 2007 as the Head of the Risk Assurance Services of the consulting arm of the firm.
