Samuel Chan obtained a Bachelor of Commerce from The Australian National University.

Qualified with Arthur Andersen & Co. in Hong Kong, Samuel has worked with the Tax and Business Advisory Division of Arthur Andersen Hong Kong and Guangzhou offices for more than nine years. In 1996, Samuel left the professional field and worked with a Hong Kong listed telecommunications group. His primary responsibilities were on the Group’s business development and strategic planning in Greater China Region. Samuel rejoined Arthur Andersen Guangzhou office in 2000.

Samuel is experienced in providing tax and business consulting services, including corporate holding and operating structure advice, individual income tax planning, foreign investment guidelines, tax due diligence, repatriation of earnings / funding from the P.R.C., etc.

Samuel joined RSM Nelson Wheeler in April 2003 and became the Tax Director in July 2007.
