Kenny Wong is a Senior Manager with more than 8 years of experience in the areas of corporate insolvency, financial investigations and litigation support. His key focus is formal and informal corporate insolvency involving construction companies and dealing with cross border administrations.
He has dealt with a number of corporate insolvency related engagements including compulsory and voluntary liquidations, receiverships and investigations involving distressed companies in Hong Kong and PRC. Kenny has gained a wide-range of experience in various industries including construction, manufacturing, import and export and five star hotels.
During the last few years he has been involved with investigations, discovery, recovery, protection, realisation and repatriation of funds of distressed assets in the PRC. He has also spent considerable time in dealing with cross border issues in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangdong and Yunnan. His main assignments include dealing with the receivership of a foreign direct investment in Guangdong, investigating the affairs of joint venture enterprises in Guangdong and Yunnan and the liquidation and disposal of a group of Wholly Foreign Owned Enterprises situated in various cities in the PRC.
In Hong Kong, Kenny has focused on a large number of formal liquidations involving the distressed assets of construction related companies including verification of construction related claims, novation of construction contracts and dealing with creditors in the construction industry, many resulting in a dividend distribution to contractors and other creditors.
He holds a degree in Business Administration (Accounting & Finance) from The University of Hong Kong and is a member of:
