Background:

Kenneth specialises in formal and informal corporate insolvency administrations and forensic accounting investigations in support of litigation and arbitration.

Kenneth is a member of the Official Receiver’s Administrative Panel of Insolvency Practitioners and Appointment Takers for Court winding-up in Hong Kong. From his accounting and commercial experience in the past 15 years, Kenneth has extensive experience of cross border issues involving Hong Kong, Mainland China and other offshore jurisdictions. Kenneth has been instrumental in formulating exit strategies for Foreign Investment Enterprises and resolving disputes and problems in the PRC.

Other than insolvency administrations, Kenneth also focused on forensic accounting for both civil and criminal matters in Hong Kong and Mainland China, including investigations of internal control, fraudulent capital verification reports, fictitious sales and letters of credit, falsification of documents, hidden commissions and kickbacks, anti-money laundering, asset and fund tracing including for the Department of Justice and other Law enforcement departments. He also has experience of being cross-examined as factual witness as a result of his forensic findings.

Kenneth has a wide range of experience in various industries, including real estate (hotels, shopping malls, commercial and residential properties), infrastructure (shipyards, bridge, power plants and coal mines), shipping and logistics, biotechnology, manufacturing, import and export trading, retail chain stores, insurance, cable and wires and system integration etc.
