Dedicating to accounting and finance professionals in the area of HKFRS update, speakers covered an overview of newly issued standard on consolidation (HKFRS 10) and newly issued and revised standards on joint arrangements and associates (HKFRS 11 and HKAS 28 (2011)). Speakers also showed a list of the effective dates of those new and revised HKFRSs which are soon to be effective. The seminar also covered an amendment to HKAS 1 in relation to the presentation of other comprehensive income.
